Fruits, nuts, vegetables, eggs, and dairy products are processed fresh from grocery warehouses to help ensure food safety and quality. All field-collected insects are caught live and frozen immediately, whereas biting insects are laboratory-reared to help ensure consistent diet and absence of blood meal.
